Data we collect

When you create an account on SafePlay Arcade, we collect:

• Your chosen nickname
• Email address
• Game scores and high scores
• Game session duration
• IP address and country of origin (for security and statistics)

Why we collect it

• Manage your account and authentication
• Display rankings and leaderboards
• Generate anonymous usage statistics
• Protect the service against abuse and bots

Data storage

Your data is stored in a SQLite database on our own server. We do not share, sell, or transfer your personal data to third parties.

Your rights (LGPD)

Under the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (Lei 13.709/2018), you have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Correct incomplete or inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Revoke consent at any time

Data retention

We retain your data only for as long as necessary to provide the service:

• Account data (nickname, email, password hash) — kept while the account is active. Deleted within 30 days of account deletion request.
• Game scores and session data — kept while the account is active. Anonymized aggregates may be retained for statistics.
• IP addresses — stored for up to 90 days for security purposes, then automatically purged.

Age requirements

SafePlay Arcade is designed to be safe for all ages. However, account creation requires an email address. We recommend that children under 13 use the platform with parental supervision. If you believe a child has provided personal information without parental consent, please contact us to have it removed.

GDPR (European users)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

• Right to access — Request a copy of your personal data
• Right to rectification — Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
• Right to erasure — Request deletion of your personal data
• Right to data portability — Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
• Right to object — Object to processing of your personal data

Cookies and local storage

We use browser localStorage to save preferences (such as language and music volume). We do not use third-party cookies or external tracking tools.
